Pierre Chicken

One of the most flavorful chicken breast recipe is this one . I usually not a big fan of chicken breast , until I learned years ago as long as you have meat thermometer you won’t end up with dry chicken breast . Still if I had my choice , I’d prefer chicken thighs . Although this was good , so who needs chicken thighs ?

Ingredients

  • 900 grams chicken breast , boneless skinless , sprinkle with salt n pepper
  • 35 grams all purpose flour
  • 8 grams of olive oil
  • 1 14 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 100 grams sliced onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground mustard
  • 1/2 tsp celery salt
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Directions :

  • Heat oil in skillet , dredge chicken breast in flour . Brown on both side , about 6 minutes total .
  • Remove, set aside .
  • In the same skillet , add onion n garlic , saute for few minutes . Add tomato n the rest of spices . Add chicken back in .
  • Bring to boil , turn to low , cook for 10-12 minutes . Check chicken temp should be 165 F .
  • Serve with rice n spinach
