Pierre Chicken
One of the most flavorful chicken breast recipe is this one . I usually not a big fan of chicken breast , until I learned years ago as long as you have meat thermometer you won’t end up with dry chicken breast . Still if I had my choice , I’d prefer chicken thighs . Although this was good , so who needs chicken thighs ?
Ingredients
- 900 grams chicken breast , boneless skinless , sprinkle with salt n pepper
- 35 grams all purpose flour
- 8 grams of olive oil
- 1 14 oz can diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup of water
- 100 grams sliced onion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground mustard
- 1/2 tsp celery salt
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Directions :
- Heat oil in skillet , dredge chicken breast in flour . Brown on both side , about 6 minutes total .
- Remove, set aside .
- In the same skillet , add onion n garlic , saute for few minutes . Add tomato n the rest of spices . Add chicken back in .
- Bring to boil , turn to low , cook for 10-12 minutes . Check chicken temp should be 165 F .
- Serve with rice n spinach
